Noteworthy Kangas Home Improvements, Inc. Restoration Projects
Joe fabricated the walls, exhibit cases, and floors of the Paleontology and Estuarium exhibits at the Calvert Marine Museum.(1990-1993)
Joe restored Clocker’s Fancy, a state-owned historic 18th century home following historic preservation standards. The home was on the 2009 Maryland House and Garden Pilgrimage on May 2nd, 2009. There’s an article about Clocker’s Fancy in the “Southern Maryland” section of the Washington Post, April, 26, 2009 edition. (2004-2005)
Joe completed the Master Gardener course offered through the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Maryland. The Maryland Master Gardener mission is to educate Maryland residents about safe, effective and sustainable horticultural practices that build healthy gardens, landscapes, and communities.
